J.G. Jones’ cover art for First Wave #1, Batman, Doc Savage & The Spirit has definitely got me sold on this upcoming series.
The Batman/Doc Savage special had beautiful artwork but the writing left a bit to be desired but I have every faith that Brian Azzarello will construct something really cool.
Urban Abstract is a beautiful use of motion animation by art director Jopsu Ramu of multidisciplinary design agency Musuta and Tokyo artist Shun Kawakami (artless Inc).
I quite like the mix of idea of nature and the urban landscapes, a very well done short video.
EA announced a reboot of the Medal of Honor franchise in modern day Afghanistan, I wonder where I’ve heard that before? A WWII shooter now set in “Modern Warfare.”
I wonder how this will turn out, I have high hopes for the multiplayer as it’s been developed by DICE of Battlefield fame.
More money than sense? The £1.92 million iPhone 3GS Supreme created by Stuart Hughes.
“The iPhone 3GS Supreme was crafted using 271 grams of 22ct solid gold. The front bezel houses 136 flawless diamonds, which total to a massive 68 carats.
The rear Apple logo in solid gold has 53 flawless diamonds amounting to 1 carat, and the front navigation button is home to a single cut very rare diamond at 7.1 carats.
The chest that houses this unique handset is made from a single block of Granite, in Kashmir gold with the inner lined with Nubuck top grain leather. It weighs a massive 7kg.”
One of the most original and fun games (despite it’s flaws) of this generation Mirror’s Edge has been ported to the iPhone, I can only hope that this game is like the Mirror’s Edge 2D flash game.
7th May, 2010 can’t come soon enough! Ironman & War Machine team up to battle Whiplash and Justin Hammer in quite possibly my personal most anticipated film of next year.
I’m quite excited at Gameloft’s latest iPhone game NOVA, looks like avery Halo inspired first person shooter. It just reminds how much of a viable games platform the iPhone/iPod Touch really is.

I’ve always had a fascination with the blaxploitation genre, with the recent film Black Dynamite accurately pay homage to the movies it’s great to see a web comic like World of Hurt. The art work is dynamic and very true to the era, I hope this will be around for a long time.
